About the artist
Born in 1986 in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, Guino studied Graphic Design and Fine Arts in Granada before moving to Cape Verde, where he created an arts class for more than 250 children with a local NGO. Inspired by his life on the islands, Cape Verdean women and children have become his favourite subject over the past 3 years. Since the end of 2018, he lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal.
