About
Rita, born in the same year as the first book of the Harry Potter series and the only girl among 5 siblings. She lived most of her life in a small town, then moved to Lisbon to study Applied Mathematics and now lives in Porto, still working in her field of study. She never felt particularly artistic or with any kind of talent and still fails to mention to people that she does embroidery, something that she learned in college, through Youtube, in a way to escape her mind and focus on something that didn’t involve equations. It’s in embroidery that she loses the track of time and finds herself in an artist way. She likes to stitch portraits in a way that makes the viewer question if what he’s seeing are actually stitches and to make him pay attention to the importance of details and how the true colors of the reference don’t really matter.
