Rising Star: Gigi Rippolone

About

Gigi Rippolone began her career as a mixed-media collage artist after attending an acting conservatory in New York City, where she lived until the pandemic relocated her back to Florida in 2020. With the acting world shut down, she began to use visual art as a creative outlet and has not looked back since.

Gigi recycles magazines, books, maps, and more in her contemporary collages.. The balance of detail and playfulness in each piece reveals her knack for discovery and for building endless stories into her works. As the viewer gets near, small pieces reveal themselves to be more details of the story and sweep your attention away down a new rabbit hole.
