Call for Artists Online Magazine
& Instagram Live

We’re currently looking for artists to be featured in our categories “All Eyes On” and “Rising Stars” in our Online Magazine on the Suboart Website, as well as artists interested in participating in an Instagram Live interview with our colleague Fola Harold.

Dear artist,

thank you so much for your interest in our open call.
Before applying, please read the following information:

What?

Feature in our Online Magazine (www.suboartmagazine.com) in the sections “Rising Stars” and “All Eyes On”. We’re also searching for artists interested in participating in an Instagram Live session with our colleague Fola Harold, where they’ll have the opportunity to speak about their work. Artists selected for an Instagram Live session will also have their work shown on our website. Not everyone selected for an online feature will automatically be selected for an Instagram Live session.

Format:

Most visual art formats (painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, collage, video, etc.) We’re not able to accept design submissions (e.g. Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Jewelery Design).

How?

Please fill out the submission form below. It is not mandatory to send us pictures of your artworks, however, if you’d like to draw attention to a certain project/ pieces of art, please send us an complementary email to “submissions@suboartmagazine.com“, Subject: “ONLINE FEATURE APRIL“.

Who can apply?

This call for artists is open internationally for everybody, participants must be 18 years or older.

Selected artists will be contacted via email in between April 10th and 15th with further details. The online features are planned to go live on our website in between April 25th and May 31st 2023 and they’ll remain on our website after these dates have passed.

Due to the high amount of applications, we’re unfortunately not able to send out rejection emails, that means that in case you haven’t heard from us until April 17th, please assume that we didn’t include you in our selection this time.

By applying to this open call, you allow Suboart Magazine to share your works on their website http://www.suboartmagazine.com, on their Social Media Channels and in their newsletter. Participating in this open call doesn’t guarantee being selected. This open call is solely for our online magazine, and by applying to it you are not applying to participating in any of our print issues. Regardless the outcome of this open call, you’ll be allowed to participate in any future Open Calls hosted by Suboart Magazine.

Applying and particpating in this open call is totally free of charge.
